Appointments & Booking

All appointments at L’AREA are booked through our website, booking system, or L’AREA app.
Please ensure you select the correct service when booking. Each service requires a specific amount of time.
Because all clients have different nail conditions and design requests, services that require additional time beyond what was booked cannot always be accommodated.
If you are unsure which service to book, please contact us before completing your appointment.
Booking an incorrect service may affect the schedule and the experience of other clients.

Deposit Policy

A deposit is required to secure your appointment time.
The deposit amount varies depending on the selected service and is applied toward your final service total.
Deposits are non-refundable in cases of:
- late cancellations,
- no-shows,
- or once the service time has started.

Client-Initiated Transactions & Payment Processing Fees

All payments at L’AREA are processed through third-party payment providers.
Each transaction — including initial payments and refunds — incurs a non-refundable payment processing fee of 4%, charged by the payment processor.
By booking an appointment, the client voluntarily initiates a payment transaction in order to secure an appointment time.
By canceling an appointment or requesting a refund, the client voluntarily initiates a second transaction — the return of funds.

Payment processing fees:
- apply each time a transaction occurs,
- are not refunded by the payment provider,
- and are the client’s responsibility.
If a deposit is refunded, the refund amount will be reduced by all applicable processing fees, including the fee charged for the refund transaction itself.
As a result, the total amount returned may be less than the original deposit paid.
L’AREA does not retain, profit from, waive, or recover payment processing fees charged by third-party providers.

Accepted Payment Methods

At this time, American Express cards are not accepted for appointment deposits.
Bookings attempted using American Express may be declined or canceled.
Please use Visa or Mastercard to complete your booking.

Rescheduling Policy

Appointments may be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
Rescheduling within the permitted timeframe allows the deposit to be transferred to the new appointment.
Rescheduling less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time is not available through the system and not accepted.
In such cases, the deposit will not be refunded.
To reschedule with a different provider (in case of choosing the option to book with specific provider), a new appointment must be booked and the original appointment canceled.
Deposit eligibility follows the cancellation policy below.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedule changes can happen.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations made within the allowed timeframe are eligible for a deposit refund, minus all applicable payment processing fees.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time result in full forfeiture of the deposit.
Same-day cancellations are treated as late cancellations.
Refunds are processed within 3 business days, followed by an additional 2–3 business days required by your bank or card issuer.

No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive for a scheduled appointment is considered a no-show.
No-shows result in full forfeiture of the deposit.
A new deposit will be required to book future appointments.

Grace Period & Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment.
A 15-minute grace period is provided.
After 15 minutes, a $15 late fee applies.
After 20 minutes, the appointment may be canceled and treated as a no-show.
Late arrivals directly affect the schedule and experience of other clients.

Business Hours & After-Hours Appointments

Regular business hours are 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Sunday.
After-hours appointments that are not available on the website may be available by request and are subject to provider availability.
An additional $30 after-hours fee applies.

Guests & Salon Environment

Only guests with a scheduled appointment are permitted in the salon at the time of service.
No additional guests, children, pets or companions are allowed.

If We Are Running Late

Occasionally, services may require additional time and cause delays. We appreciate your understanding and will try to notify you if this occurs. We strive to make your wait as comfortable as possible.

Agreement

By booking an appointment at L’AREA, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy, including:
- booking and service selection requirements,
- deposit and cancellation rules,
- client-initiated transactions,
- and responsibility for payment processing fees.
